Run strong. Lift strong. Repeat.
A hybrid athlete isn't just a runner or just a lifter — they're both. Hybrid Training develops the engine and the strength to perform under fatigue.
Every session blends compromised running — running on tired legs — with the functional strength stations that define events like HYROX. You'll build an aerobic base that keeps your heart rate controlled, then layer in the power to push a sled, carry heavy, and grind out wall balls without falling apart. It's demanding, measurable, and it carries straight over to everyday life on the ranch and beyond.

The HYROX Format
HYROX is a global fitness race: eight 1 km runs, each followed by a functional workout station. We train every piece of it.
- 011000 m SkiErg
- 0250 m Sled Push
- 0350 m Sled Pull
- 0480 m Burpee Broad Jumps
- 051000 m Row
- 06200 m Farmers Carry
- 07100 m Sandbag Lunges
- 08100 Wall Balls
Whether you're signed up for a race or just want the engine and grit that come with training like it, our programming prepares you for every station — and the running in between.
Aerobic Endurance
A big aerobic base is the foundation under everything — it's what lets you recover between efforts, hold pace, and finish strong. Hybrid Training builds that engine on purpose, week after week.
- Zone 2 base work — steady aerobic running and erg intervals that grow your capacity
- Tempo & threshold — sustained efforts that raise the pace you can hold
- Compromised running — running under fatigue, the skill that wins hybrid races
- Erg conditioning — SkiErg, Row, and BikeErg to train the engine without the pounding
Train on open ground
Most hybrid athletes build their running on a treadmill. Ours build it outside — on a 400 m track and oak-lined trails across four acres of pasture, with Hill Country views and open sky. It's harder, it's real, and it's a big part of why training here feels different.
Ready to build your engine?
